Mountain leopard MIRG is a species that lives in the lowest reaches of Himachal Pradesh. This elusive creature is the subject of many tales. What distinguishes MIRG from a typical leopard are myths and legends. Larger-than-life stories that are curiously believable. A genre-bending film, MIRG follows the voyage of Anil, a clever but imprisoned order-following boy. The revenge drama MIRG, set in the Himachal jungles, is about a heist gone wrong and the voyage of realizing that, in the wilderness, the difference between the hunter and the hunted is only one letter.

The director Tarun Sharma said that the film’s viewership was my top priority when I approached MIRG. Filmmaking aims to produce an engaging experience that immerses viewers in a different reality. That is the enchantment of film. I had a lovely and enthusiastic crew. I enjoyed having veterans like Raj Babbar, Satish Kaushik, and Anup Soni in my first movie. The first actor to sign on was Satish Kaushik, who surprised me by agreeing to star in the film just two hours after I sent him the screenplay. I will never forget his innocent enthusiasm for movies. I regrettably won’t be able to fulfill my wish for him to see the finished result because I wanted to. Shwetaabh outperformed many more experienced performers.
Raj Babbar, who plays MIRG, stated, “I thoroughly liked shooting for this film. We had a great time. Brilliant director Tarun allows his actors the freedom to interpret the characters in their unique ways. With this method, you become much more invested in nature and feel obligated to embody it fully. Each actor in this movie made a thoughtful effort.

Anup Soni, an actor, continued, “MIRG is many pictures inside a film. The approach is very new, and the plot is unpredictable. Being in a movie with such talented actors as Satish Kaushik Sir and Raj Babbar ji was a fantasy come true for me. I’m happy I blindly followed Tarun’s example because he has a vision. I’m now eagerly anticipating its arrival on displays.
Mirg is filmed in Himachal Pradesh’s districts of Una, Hamirpur, Govind Sagar Lake, and Himachal Pradesh’s jungles.
