Professor and Indian mathematician RL Kashyap passed away at age 84. One of India’s foremost mathematicians and professors of electrical engineering, Rangasami Lakshminarayan Kashyap, popularly known as RL Kashyap, passed away today. Professor and Indian mathematician RL Kashyap passed away

According to the reports, he passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022. He was given Indian citizenship when he was born on March 28, 1938. He studied at the Indian Institute of Science, the University of Mysore, and Harvard University. The President of India also presented Padma Shri to RL Kashyap in 2021. He acted as the Kashyap Information Criterion (representative)’s in 1982 to choose the most suitable model from a group of mathematical candidate models with various unknown parameters. To make the models more data-driven, these parameters are changed.

Kashyap won numerous international prizes for his contributions to the scientific and technology fields as a result of this. A research mentor for 50 students, he also penned more than 250 research publications. In terms of contributions to Vedic studies, he has made the most.
