Yashoda, Samatha’s last film, debuted roughly Rs 3 crore at the box office and finished its first weekend with Rs 10 crore net. The movie made about Rs 20 crores in India throughout its whole run. In the mythical drama Shankuntalam, the world is well portrayed. Shankuntala grew up in Sage Kanva’s hermitage after being abandoned by her parents when she was a little child for an unknown reason. When they first met, Shakuntala and King Dushyant fell in love and wed Gandharva. Shakuntala is left at the ashram by King Dushyant, who promises to return her once he has completed the necessary tasks. However, Shakuntala is forgotten by Dushyant due to Durvasa Muni’s curse, and Shakuntalam then recounts Shakuntala’s struggle and sacrifice. Our culture has a rich history.
