A man who had stolen a patrol car from the California Highway Patrol jumped out of the moving vehicle in the center of the road, ending a protracted pursuit. The sources claim that the guy, struggling with mental health issues, stole the car after getting into an accident near Santa Clarita. He also took a shotgun and an assault weapon during the chase. According to news reports, the guns were safely stored inside the car. The pursuit stopped when the suspect jumped out of the moving vehicle while traveling on the 138 Freeway at about 45 miles per hour. How did the suspect fare?
